Terms of Service

StopoverCity is a flight comparison service. We find itineraries and show you live prices, then send you to a third-party booking site to buy them. We do not act as agent for you or for any airline, we do not procure flight accommodation on your behalf, and we never handle your fare.

Your flights are sold to you by the booking site you are sent to, or by the airline directly. Your contract for each flight is with them, never with StopoverCity, and any protection you have is theirs, not ours. StopoverCity is operated from the United Kingdom.

The fare is charged by and paid to the booking site or the airline. StopoverCity never receives, holds, or handles your fare, not even for a moment in transit.

StopoverCity charges you nothing. We are paid a commission by our booking partners out of their own margin, at no cost to you, and we never mark up a fare. We do not currently sell tickets ourselves.

A Stopover City itinerary is two separate one-way tickets, i.e. two separate flight contracts. That split is exactly what makes it cheaper — and it means the itinerary is not a package and not a Linked Travel Arrangement under the Package Travel Regulations 2018.

Because these are flight-only sales, no ATOL protection applies and none is claimed. And because the tickets are separate: if your first flight is delayed or cancelled and you miss the second, the second airline owes you nothing — missed connections between your tickets are your responsibility. We say this on every result, before you leave for the booking site, because you should know exactly what you're buying. It's also why we only show connections measured in days, not tight same-day dashes.

Our flight and hotel links are advertising links to third-party sites. We are not the seller and we never handle your fare. Booking and payment happen entirely on the partner's site, under their terms, and whatever protection you get is theirs, not ours. We may earn a commission if you book, at no cost to you, and we pass the partner no personal data. The link is the whole hand-off.

Prices come from live airline data, but fares move, sometimes between your search and the booking site. The price on the booking site at the moment you pay is the one that counts, not the one we showed you. Search results, savings estimates, and "from" prices are indicative, not offers.

Passenger details must match the passport you'll travel with. Visas, entry rules, and travel documents for every stop — including your stopover city — are yours to check. Each ticket follows its own airline's fare rules for changes and refunds; changes happen with the airline that issued the ticket.

We're responsible for running our search with reasonable skill and care, and our liability to you is capped at the service fee you paid us. We are not liable for the flights themselves (your contract for those is with the airline), for delays, cancellations, or missed connections between your separate tickets, or for anything on third-party sites we link to. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited, and nothing here affects your statutory rights or your rights against the airlines (including UK261 compensation, which you claim from the airline).

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction. We may update these terms — the date at the top tells you when we last did — and changes apply from when they're posted. Questions, complaints, anything at all: [email protected].
